PANDEMIC SELF PORTRAIT

This piece is the physical collection of my thoughts, a diary entry recording a glimpse of the world during the isolation of the 2020 Covid-19 pandemic. Featuring a self portrait, thorned vines and screen-printed photographs, both from my own camera and those participating in events during this time period. As a self directed project, I was able to expand past my traditional painting methodologies and explore alternative creative avenues, sparking a love for large scale work.
