TIME MAGAZINE: CARAVAGGIO EDITION

For my Illustration II class we were tasked with creating a fake time magazine cover for a famous individual. I decided to illustrate Caravaggio due to my admiration of his work, as well as the dramatic backstory that has landed him in a place of infamy in art history. I took inspiration from one of his preexisting paintings of an angel holding a fallen friar, and re-invented it as Caravaggio as the star, with an angel of death.
